Since BB 22 started sucking bad I decided to use my subscription to start Survivor from the beginning.
Palau was the first season I remember watching and when I got to it, it was a walk down memory lane, I was 10 when I was watching all this!🙃
I was eerily reminded that I too wished I had a reward to the Jellyfish Lake, it was so amazing to know a place like that existed. That lake was probably my first feeling of wanderlust.
All these seasons in great locations are reminding me of random things I wanted as a kid. I remember loving social studies and re-watching some challenges in Cook Islands reminded me of wanting that career as a kid.
I love having these feelings of nostalgia with Survivor while in quarantine.
Currently on season 16/40
So I found out a really good friend of mine, engaged friend, has already picked her bridesmaids. I have known her since middle school and we became really close during high school and keep in touch now. I am graduated from college (I went away for college she stayed) and I am home for good now. When we got a chance to hang out this summer I thought she was finally going to ask me to be a bridesmaid, I have known she asked other friends and her sister already during the beginning of the year. She didn’t ask me to be a bridesmaid, she asked me to be the “godmother of the bouquet” (its a Latinx wedding).I didn’t say yes or no to this role in the wedding I just said thank you.
When she was falling for this guy she always called me and asked what she should do, she told me I was one of the first to know about their engagement and I get asked to give her a bouquet during the wedding?! I really thought we were close and even thought “maybe she didn’t ask me because I was away in school” but should that really be an excuse not to have a friend be your bridesmaid? What gets me more is that one of her bridesmaids is someone she has know for about two years, I’ve known her for 10! The amount of time knowing someone doesn’t matter but I was there for her in this budding romance and I get reduced to a grown flower girl for her big day. :(
everyone voting cody for afp is giving me 2016 election trigger flashbacks
I think it would be so interesting to have some celebrity gossip show hosts on celebrity BB.
Imagine Harvey Levin, Mario Lopez or Kevin Frazier being on there and they’re the targets because they got all the dirt on everyone else.
Not sure if this was said yet or not, but…
Last season Paul was in the final three with a POC and a blond
This season he will reach final three with a POC and a blond.
He is going to ditch taking the blond a second time and will win against a POC because not even a bitter jury can let us see a POC win.
I am just gonna leave this video here and let you all have at it, with the hair or what ever comments you all want. Spread the video around if you want to.
The reason I am posting this is because of all the talk of whether she is POC and about her Latinidad. She is POC by default (mother’s side), whether she identifies and embraces being POC or her Brazilian side is a different story (as is if Brazilians identify as Latinx).
The one thing that got me about her is when Ramses (way back while Elena did Jess’ make up) commented that she looks very Latina and if I recall correctly she said “well I’m half Brazilian so there’s that”. I haven’t seen anything that shows me she embraces her Brazilian side for anything other than the exoticism it gives her and this video proved that to me. Solo lo acepta cuando le conviene/she only accepts it [her ethnicity] when it’s convenient for her. She states that designers like an exotic look and I understand that the beauty world and acting world fetishize that and aim for the exotic which is what I am getting at. POC are racially fetishized and/or seen as “exotic” in this industry all the damn time that many POC buy into those toxic ideas and some erase or ignore our roots and many [Americanized POC] only play it to their advantage and we need to decolonize those concepts from our mindset.
I hope this added to some conversation given with if she’s POC and even with how Ramses does or does not identify as. That’s my two cents and I’m not going to exhaust myself with anymore of this cause now she’s gone.

I really hope they show the fight and give us (especially casual viewers) the context of what started it (the drought comment) and show j*ss’ and c*dy’s nastiness.
But, with production being a punk and j*ss saying in her DR that she wanted to start drama before she left, idk if that will happen. Production is going to make sure she gets a decent edit and doesn’t get booed when she leaves. They totally scripted that for her and are going to spin it as ‘it was her whole plan all along’ shit.
l5j:
The fight basically
Jessica, interrupting josh, who isn’t even talking to her: you’re stupid josh
Josh: I’m successful and have a degree
Jessica: don’t talk to me josh I’m better than you
Josh: You talked to me first????
What irks me more is that production went out to cater to Jody so they wouldn’t walk, but you best know they won’t call them in to set them straight on the shit they did to Josh.
They don’t have the emotional intelligence to not make this personal
It really is karmic justice that under Josh’s HOH J*ss put herself in the position to get evicted without nomination and will go home under his HOH.
It really tears at me thet J*ss and C*dy think they’re all high and mighty when they’ve been among the most problematic, disgusting and rudest personalities on the show. I commend Josh for being the strong soul that he is.
What about Lady and the Tramp?! The Aristocats. The Great Mouse Detective. The Fox and the Hound! The Jungle Book! And of course Oliver and Company as someone mentioned. I prefer the animal animated films over princess ones tbh.
